Update on Youth Exchange

Tom Brooks, District Officer, gave us an update on Youth Exchange, thanking Derek Papich for stepping up to replace Jim Warwick as Youth Exchange Director. Tom said all the new kids are here and they're actually in the process now of looking for our next outbound student. They had an open house last Thursday and he thanked the several Rotarians who showed up to help interview the 12 kids who were there. Dave Smith mentioned that, interestingly enough, the mother of one of the kids was our outbound student in 1993 to France! Tom said they were able to narrow the prospects down to three and we would get to meet the next outbound student at the Christmas party. Thanks Tom, and everyone involved, for all you do!
