Anita reported that our district grant for $870 was approved. Using funds donated to the foundation by Loves Park that they have held for three years, the district matches $870 raised by our club which Anita has been working hard to complete. The funds will be used to purchase educational coloring books which will be given to area fourth graders in the Harlem district, St. Bridget and Concordia. Additionally, breadfruit trees will be purchased for areas like Haiti & Guatemala. The trees take about three years to mature and will last about 100 years, providing a great supply of food for families. Well done, Anita!
