New member, Susan Marsh, gave us her classification talk. She is married to Jeff and they live in Loves Park near her dad. She works for Aetna which was bought by CVS and she helps employers purchase health insurance. Susan said Rockford, with their three hospitals, was one of the first communities that accepts bundled payments (one check is issued for all providers); it was a real innovation in the industry. In her free time, She likes volunteering at the humane society and therapy programs, knitting for shelters, mentoring students and spending time with her horse, Jake.
