Ginger Thompson introduced Harlem High School Student of the Month, Monica Patel. Her parents are Rakesh & Rupal Patel and her father was able to be with her. She ranks 78th of 441 in her class with a 3.57 GPA, she is a member of the National Honor Society and was in Key Club, track and on the dance team; she is also Link Crew co-president. She’s active in the community, volunteering for Special Olympics, Midway Village, and OSF. Monica plans on attending the University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in pre-nursing and a goal toward becoming a neonatal nurse practitioner. Congratulations, Monica, on being named Loves Park Rotary Student of the Month.
