Loves Park Rotary's Harlem High School Student of the Month

Ginger Thompson introduced our Harlem High School Student of the Month, Alexis Bolgert.  She was in attendance with her parents, Tom & Sherrie Bolgert.  She is in the top 13% of her graduating class with a GPA of 3.81 and an ACT score of 27.  Lexi, as she is known, retook the ACT several times to improve her score and increase her chances of getting a good scholarship.  She has been in the National Honors Society for two years and has been in the soccer program three years (two in JV and one in Varsity).  She does a lot of volunteer work, helping with the Northern Illinois Blood Bank, Rockford Rescue Mission & Carpenter’s Place, just to name a few.  She hopes to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at either Clarke or Carroll University.  Congratulations, Alexis, on being named Loves Park Rotary’s High School Student of the Month!
