Our new District Governor, Bobbi Burke visited the club. Her first order of business was to present Paul Harris pins and offer congratulations to Governor-Elect, Tom Brooks (Paul Harris plus three) and Assistant Governor, John Hurley (Paul Harris plus five). As governor, she wants to challenge Rotarians in two main areas: #1, Are our meetings attractive? And #2, Get connected. To demonstrate her commitment, Bobbi brought pins to hand out with Rotary’s new theme “Rotary Connects the World”. She suggested ways to connect are to get involved in your local club but also attend district events. Thanks for visiting, Governor Bobbi!
