Frankenmuth Noon Rotary - March 5th ~ Farmers Day
Mar 05, 2026 12:10 PM - 1:15 PM

Farmers Day at Frankenmuth Noon Rotary is this Thursday 3/5. Our program will be Thomas Lawrence, Pesticide Business License Specialist with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development who will be talking about Drones, Container Recycling, and Clean Sweap. Before Noon Rotary starts Terry Henne, from WSGW radio, will be doing the Farm Show as a live remote from Zehnder's Town Hall room, compliments of Frankenmuth Credit Union. Farmers Day is a great way for Rotary to honor our heritage and those that provide food for our tables, clothes for our backs, and so much more.

Hope to see you Thursday, but if you can't make it - please consider joining via Zoom.

Muth Noon Rotary on 3/12 & Sleep in Peace Memo
Mar 12, 2026 12:10 PM - 1:15 PM

There is NO Frankenmuth Noon Rotary meeting on March 12, 2026 because of Taste of Frankenmuth happening that night. We are still in need of 12 more volunteers for Taste of Frankenmuth. Please get with Amy Grossi or Bill Parlberg if you are available.

A message from Joe Stewart:

Dear Fellow Frankenmuth Noon Rotarians,

On February 18, our Rotary club joined the Saginaw Valley and Saginaw Noon clubs, along with many community volunteers, to build 55 beds for children who would otherwise be sleeping on the floor.

Representing Frankenmuth Rotary were:

  • Dan Redford
  • Mike Redford
  • Steve Jennings and his wife Karen
  • Adam Krieger (currently serving on the Fondo Committee and a prospective Rotary member)
  • Kyle Tomlinson

Thank you to those who showed up and helped make a real impact.

Our goal is to have 30 Frankenmuth Rotary volunteers participate across the February, March, and April builds, and we’re off to a strong start.

The next build is Saturday, March 21, and we would love to have more Rotarians join us.

Sign up here:

If you’re able, please consider signing up for March or April — and feel free to invite a friend, family member, or colleague to join you. The more hands we have, the more beds we can build for kids who need them.

Let’s keep the momentum going.

- Joe Stewart

Thanks and have a great week.

Jenny

Watershed Cleanup 2026
Apr 25, 2026 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Thank you for considering donating time to help clean up the Saginaw Bay watershed in the greater Frankenmuth area.

Important reminders for volunteers are provided within this email.  Please review these reminders prior to and in preparation for your service on Saturday, April 25th.

Reminders for Volunteers

  • The Participant Liability Waiver Form is available from the event website.  If you are able to print, complete and bring with you on the 25th, that will speed along the process. (Event website: https://tinyurl.com/4333dtzy on left hand side, scroll down past the registration area.)
  • Please be aware of your surroundings and nearby vehicular traffic
  • Wear bright clothes if you have them
  • Work gloves and heavy duty boots would be appropriate
  • You should park and start at one end of your mile section to pick up trash.  As your bags are full, leave at the side of the road or try to group some bags together.  At the end of your 1 mile section, cross over to the other side and pick up trash while headed back to your vehicle.
  • Bring all your trash bags back to City Hall.  Dumpsters are located here specifically for this event.  If you have large items such as tires, that you cannot bring back – phone numbers will be provided the day of the event to let the "large item" crew know.  Have a good reference point when calling in the large items for pick-up.  Trucks will be around to load the large items.

  • Order your volunteer t-shirts (no cost) on the Grasel Graphics store and pick up during the registration process behind City Hall on April 25th .

We appreciate your participation and look forward to making this a great event together!
