UPDATE ON SERVICES FOR DON TAYLOR:
A celebration of Don's life will take place the afternoon of June 4, 2021 at Elmbrook Church, 777 S Barker Road, Brookfield. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:45 pm, followed by a 4:00 pm memorial service. Everything will take place at the church.
Flowers are appreciated (the club sent flowers to Carol) or memorials in Don's memory may be made to Ethnos 360, 915 N. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186, or Wisconsin Philharmonic, P.O. Box 531, Waukesha, WI 53187-0531 (Wisphil.org).
FIRST HWY CLEANUP A SUCCESS:
The first cleanup of Hwy XX took place on May 6th. Thank you to all of our volunteers for showing up for the first of three cleanups that will take place this year. A well deserved social took place at Tally's Tap afterwards. Many of our other members joined them in the festivities.
Mark your calendar for cleanup #2 which will take place on August 26, 2021.

MONDAY MEETINGS:
Thank you to our many members who have been faithfully attending our Monday zoom meetings during the pandemic. The "plan" is to resume our in person meetings starting July 5, 2021. We are currently working on finding a caterer and someone to do set-up/take-down/cleanup. We are also working on setting up the proper equipment to offer a high quality hybrid meeting for those members who are unable to attend an in person meeting for whatever reason, be it health issues or "hey, I can't make the drive today, but I sure would like to zoom into the meeting" kind of reason. Stay tuned to your emails and our website for further details. Thank you for your patience during this process.
Speaking of meetings, we will not be meeting next Monday due to the holiday. Please join us again on Zoom on Monday, June 7th. Our speaker will be Francesca Johnson who will be talking about Identity Theft: Protect and Prevent.
This past Monday, our speaker was Lance Spranger, Chief Information Officer for Waukesha County and an IT leader for over 15 years. Lance is responsible for the strategic technology initiatives and innovations for the County. If you have any questions about IT Security

BLUESFEST 2021 IS BACK ON
& BETTER THAN EVER!
At a board meeting held this past Tuesday, the directors and officers approved going ahead with plans for BluesFest 2021. The Sign-up Genius is just about ready to go out, so please watch your emails and sign up early. Right now, our most important goal is to fill up all the volunteer areas for the two days of the festival, August 13 and 14, 2021.
The BluesFest committee has worked extremely hard on obtaining sponsorships and has been very successful! The first informational email has gone out to past attendees and those who have expressed an interest in receiving information. HELP FOR THE COVID-19 SITUATION IN INDIA:
India is currently experiencing almost 300,000 new Covid-19 cases and more than 11,000 deaths per day, and has accumulated almost a million dead, in total. The latest surge is made far worse by their shortage of Oxygen for ventilators, resulting in an unnecessarily high mortality.
In a typical Rotarian response, members of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity in District 3201 are meeting this challenge head-on and working to raise $65,000 to provide an oxygen generator to the ESI Hospital in Coimbatore. They have reached out to us and are requesting our help to meet that goal.
Individuals can easily donate by going to https://my.rotary.org/en/donate, click on "global grants," enter the Seven-digit grant number 2127441 and hit "search." It will bring up "Breathing Life" and you can take it from there.
THE MOVING WALL

"The Moving Wall" is scheduled to visit the City of Waukesha May 27 through 6:00 am June 1, 2021. "The Moving Wall" is a half-sized replica of the Washington DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
An Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 27 at 6:00 pm. During the ceremony, the names of our Brothers lost from the City of Waukesha will be read aloud. SHRED DAY COMING TO BAIRD

We hope you can stop by and drop off your documents to be shredded. The shred truck will be located in our office parking lot. We encourage you to drive up, pop your trunk, and let us take care of your shredding materials in a contactless way.
