Our recent survey conducted on June 22 indicated a strong preference for a return to in-person meetings. This was not unexpected because the roots of Rotary are meeting in fellowship for good. Since then, the occurrence of virus infections has increased substantially. Due to this, and our concern for the safety of all our members, our Board decided to continue with Zoom meetings at this time. We also requested the Club Service and Administration Committee, chaired by Ann Marie Moss and Claire Hartley, to begin building a plan for a return to in-person meetings in the future. We are interested in learning more about hybrid meetings – a combination of in-person and video conference meetings. If you are willing to assist in building and developing this plan, please send an email to Ann Marie or Claire and copy Colleen.

Club Service and Administration
Help plan interesting and fun meetings. Assist in developing a plan for in-person meetings. Help with arrangement for meeting/social at Retzer Nature Center.
Community Service
Develop and implement plan for district grant to support Hebron Housing Services. Promote community service projects and enhance connection with nonprofits we fund.
Youth and Senior Services
Support and promote youth programs and provide services to senior citizens where need and opportunities exist.
International Service
Promote Global Peace and Understanding by highlighting and supporting international programs and exchanges. Make connection to Rotary clubs internationally through international and district programs.
Fundraising
Initiate and evaluate creative programs to support our service programs. Make plans and decisions around major fundraising programs in light of the Corona Virus.
Membership
“You can’t have a dance without dancers.” Create active member development program. Support member interests. Promote our programs and successes through the media.
FIRST QUARTER BILLING
You should be receiving a billing for July 1 - September 30 this coming week. It will include 1st quarter dues, fine insurance for anyone who requested it for the coming year, and late fees if applicable. Any additional donations that you are able to make to the club at this time would be greatly appreciated. Just add it to the total listed on your invoice. Thank you in advance for helping us out during these crazy times!

SOCIAL-SOCIAL-SOCIAL
Please mark your calendar for Monday, August 17th. We will be combining a club meeting with a club social at Retzer Nature Center. Instead of our noon meeting, we will be meeting at Retzer at 5:30 pm. Come and hear an update about the outdoor educational project that we are working on over the course of the next three years. We will be ordering box lunches and doing social distancing. We will ask everyone who plans on attending this event to rsvp when we get closer to the date. More information to follow.
MEMBERSHIP CHANGES

Resignations: The board of directors regretfully accepted the following resignations: Natalie Glumm, Todd Gray, Mike Pjevach. We thank each of them for their Service Above Self throughout their many years of membership and we wish them all the best.

FUNDRAISING
The fundraising committee will work on coming up with some creative fundraisers for 2020-2021. We are asking all of our members to think, think, think and forward your innovative ideas to Lori Kasun and Mike Kruse.
RIVERFEST PICTURES
Ken Genin is currently the keeper of old pictures from Riverfest (2 boxes!). If you are interested in looking at them and/or storing them, please contact Ken no later than Friday, August 31st. If no one wants them, they will be disposed of after that date.
