Strive 2B:) Planning Meeting

Strive 2B:) is a partnership between Rotary Club of Neenah and Shattuck Middle School to provide leadership and enrichment activities for a group of 8th grade students chosen by the school counselors. Our events are typically held once per month for an hour or two during the school day. We've received excellent feedback from participants and school personnel in past years, so we know that Strive 2B:) makes a positive impact on these students. 

The goals of the Strive 2 B program are to:

• Improve performance in school and take advantage of educational activities
• Encourage teamwork and acceptance of others
• Build self esteem
• Learn about and participate in opportunities and programs offered through local organizations to become involved in the community

After a two-year break in the program, we are back on for the 2022-23 school year and looking for Rotarians to join the Strive 2B:) Committee. Being able to attend every monthly meeting isn't a requirement; even if you can only attend some months, or are willing to help with planning activities, we'd be happy to have you on our team!

There will be a planning meeting held at Shattuck Middle School on Friday, October 7 from 8:30 - 9:30 AM with the school counselors. All committee members are welcome, but not expected, to attend. Let Dana know if you will attend so we have ample handouts (if any will be provided.)
