SHARE A TIE

DO YOU HAVE A SPARE TIE TO DONATE?

A couple of weeks ago, Tom Brass explained that he was taking up a collection of ties for Paula Decker's school.  They would like to have more of the young men take part in the graduation ceremony and they would like to dress it up by having the graduates wear ties.  If you have a nice tie that you're not using any more, please bring it to Friday's meeting.  Thank you in advance.

WALKERS NEEDED!

LAKE AREA WALK FOR CANCER

From Our LCR Chairman Tony Griffin:

As most of you are aware, we have had a proud history of being represented and participating at the Lake Area Walk for Cancer.  Sponsored by ProHealth and others, it features 3 different walks on the same day.  We will be participating in the Lake Area walk in Oconomowoc which goes around Fowler Lake, and takes place on Saturday, May 4, 10am

We would love to have our Club be represented again this year.  And despite some directionally challenged experiences in the past, this Rotarian would like to make sure we can make an impact again this year.  If we get started now, we can make sure we have shirts that have our logo proudly emblazoned on the back, and we can make sure we have ample room to "celebrate" our participation during/post-walk on the day of.

Please feel free to go onto the ProHealth site to sign up, make sure you indicate you are part of our Lake Country Rotary Team!! LCR club will reimburse the registration fee for our club members.

I'll be walking for my parents and several wonderful friends who have been personally helped by ProHealth in their battles against Cancer.  WON'T YOU JOIN ME?!?  If you can't walk, we would be honored to represent you and your loved ones via a donation.  Thank you for continuing to put Service Above Self!!!
