DISTRICT TRAINER – Chair Position

Knowledge of PETS, PRE PETS, ASSEMBLIES, RLI recommended.
Past AG and RLI graduate recommended.
Assist the Governor's training requirements for the Rotary year. Attend Fall Assembly, PrePETS, PETS and potentially 1 or 2 other training events as required. Facilitate coordination of all training leaders including RYLA, RLI and AG training.
 

 

YOUTH SERVICES LIAISON

Knowledge of the youth programs: RYLA, Rotaract, Interact, Youth Exchange Rebound students, Alumni

This person would have a vision on connecting the programs and alumni with Rotary. Attracting alumni into Rotary via these programs.

Offer speaking opportunities to clubs on the ideas sharing of working with the Youth programs and its benefits.

Help develop a plan to create an Alumni database for all clubs to use for membership attraction.

Work with clubs on developing Youth programs and projects for their clubs.

 

INTERACT Chair

Person would have knowledge and attend some Interact meetings.

Passionate about working with Youth and being involved with Interact clubs.

Help other clubs get Interact clubs started.

Work with and/or communicate with Interact clubs members and leaders to develop the club.

Help with ideas sharing. Communicate with district.

Help update Interact info of club meetings, times and leaders.

Oversee all the Interact Clubs as a whole.
E-Meet with fellow leaders in other districts to share best practices.

 

YOUTH EXCHANGE COMMITTEE: Canada YE Vetting Chairperson
Be a part of a fun youth exchange committee!

Database management of Club YEOs and Host families and following up on applications for the Canadian side. Full training provided by YEO Patty Garrett.

 

ROTARIAN AT WORK DAY or ROTARY DAYS Liaison

Communicate with the district and be an ambassador for Rotary at Work Day. Pick a day and get clubs excited about doing a hands on project in the district.

 

ENVIRONMENT: “Preserve Planet Earth”

Seeking someone to oversee a new position in the district leading a committee of people interested in helping clubs setup Preserve Planet Earth Committees.

Help clubs with idea sharing on projects locally and internationally relating to the environment.  Local Peace Gardens and International PlasticsBank recycling initiatives.

Help the Governor oversee the district wide initiative to have all areas develop Peace Gardens/Parks for the year 2018-2019.

Liaison with other committee members to set up breakout sessions at district conferences, assemblies and area meetings, to meet and brainstorm on environmental issues.

 

FUTURE ASSISTANT GOVERNORS:

If you are interested in being an area assistant governor please get in touch with governors Sherry Chamberlain or Peter Schultz.

Must have been a past club president.

Like working with clubs and visiting other clubs.

Able to attend annual training – Spring AG Training, Fall Assembly, Pre PETS and PETS.

 

ROTARY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Seeking facilitators, and chairpersons for areas.

Chairpersons for areas would manage the RLI for that area, book the venue and catering, insure books are printed and the database is kept up to date.

Chairpersons would seek the facilitators and arrange the agendas.

Report back to the Governor.
