June 27, 2018 lunch meeting
Greetings Rotarians and Friends of Rotary
Our guests today were Austin Adam, John Kurvink and David Bouchard
 
  Birthdays – Bob Gibbs celebrates his birthday July 2nd,
 
Today we did not have a speaker so we spent some time saying goodbye to Paul Varga as President and hello to Peter Graham as our new 2018/2019 President
 
  Chauffeur award – went to Liz McLeod for all of her help with volunteers for Ribfest
 
 
Rhonda was our Sherriff and fined Randall for talking and Justin for being the easiest chair in Ribfest, Barb for trouble and Hume for over talking, Don for picking on her, Liz for texting and anyone that had not volunteered yet for Ribfest
 
smileycrying  Happy Sad – Tracy was happy to have no backpacks for 2 months, Peter was happy to have no traffic for his boat, Arnie was happy to be the greeter for June and July , Erwin had a sad buck about Harry Chesser in the hospital in Room 215, Justin was happy about the next instalment of 100 Men at the Sandman, and happy about Ribfest, Milton was happy to be going to Grand Forks to attend grad, Joe was happy about dessert, Don said he was happy that he scored 10 cases of wine from the Community Foundation BUT was sad they are in Barbs basement, Lorne was happy to have his son visiting, Ken talked about the government and marijuana fields, Ralph was happy to say that the last time he won the 50/50 was actually in 2016, Michel was happy David was visiting, Barb was sad to that her B&B makes no money this weekend but happy because it’s all volunteers staying there, Rhonda was happy her daughter won an award at school, Paul was happy his service is over, Brian was happy his kids will be here for July long, sad about Bruce Schoenne, Randall was happy his son graduated grade 5, Marie was happy to soon be a member.
 
We did a 50/50 draw for $37 and Roy Phillips got the chance to draw the joker but did not win.  Roy will be Sherriff next week
