District Governor Roger Perry and his wife Judith made their official visit to our club on August 13.

Roger Perry is a retired Real Estate Appraiser and has lived in Vernon and the Okanagan for the past 19 years.

He joined Rotary in 1992 and was a club president in 1999/2000, Assistant Governor for Area 3 from 2002/04, District Rotary Foundation Chair from 2004/07, Area 3 Foundation Coordinator, District Governor Nominee 2006/07 and District Governor Elect 2007/08.

Roger and wife Judith both grew up on small farms in Southern Saskatchewan and have lived all their lives in Western Canada. They have three children and six grandchildren. Judith is also a retired Real Estate Appraiser.

Hobbies and past activities have included mountain climbing, hiking, adventure trekking, skiing, motorbike touring and more sedate things like reading, travelling and grandchildren.

Both are multiple Paul Harris Fellows, Bequest Society members and Benefactors of The Rotary Foundation.
