Rotary Midday Meeting - March 12
Join us this Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Mayo Civic Center room #101 to hear "Advocating for Technical Education & Trade Careers" presented by Amanda Block, Specialty Gas Territory Manager for the largest industrial, specialty, and rare gas company in the world.

Amanda's presentation will focus on three aspects of her experiences. She will describe how she built her interests and skills in traditionally non-female roles followed by her experiences in the off-shore oil fields. Lastly, she will speak about her passion of promoting technical education and opportunities to inspire future generations to consider technical or skilled career paths. You won't want to miss this unique and inspirational program!

Your Help is Needed for NCPETS!
Rotarians from five districts will gather in Rochester this Thursday through Saturday, March 12 -14, for NCPETS - North Central President-Elect Training Seminar. Local Rotarians are needed to help staff the registration table, provide directions within the Mayo Civic Center, check for badges at meal times, and support the break-out sessions. Shifts range from 1-1/2 to 3 hours. If you are available, please click here to sign up. Twenty-four volunteers are still needed to help our visiting Rotarians feel welcome in Rochester! Thank you.
Honoring our Graduates
Rotary Club of Rochester members, do you have a 2019-2020 graduate? We would like to honor them at our April 9 Midday Meeting!

By March 26, please email to the Rotary office (romnrotary@gmail.com) your graduate’s school, major (if a higher education student), activities/experiences/achievements, and upcoming plans. We encourage you to invite your student to join you in person at the meeting, but for those graduates who cannot attend the meeting, please send a photo, as well. A brief PowerPoint presentation will be shared during the meeting.

Please contact Rotarian Kelly Engler or the Rotary office if you have questions. Congratulations to those with graduates!
