This is the 33rd three-club fundraiser for Rochester Rotary Risers, Greater Rochester Rotary, and The Rotary Club of Rochester. All proceeds from the event are distributed as grants to local nonprofits serving youth and education.

Volunteer Job Descriptions:

Set-up – assist with setting up the event – hang signs, organize volunteer room, and finance room.
South Hallway Volunteers will be located between the Civic Center Drive doors and the Rochester Art Center doors to check incoming attendees for wristbands or direct them to the Grand Lobby to purchase passes.
North Lobby Volunteers will be located by the Civic Center Drive doors and Center Street doors in the North Lobby to direct teams to check-in, direct attendees to the Grand Lobby ticket booth, and check incoming attendees for wristbands.
Team Check-In/Information Volunteers will be located in/by the Board Room in the North Lobby to welcome teams, participants, and volunteers; distribute information; direct attendees and volunteers to their appropriate locations; help teams store luggage; and assist as needed.

It is our tradition and expectation that all members purchase two tickets to the Holiday Classic to support the event.  You can pick them up at the Holiday Classic ticket desk in the Mayo Civic Center, or many members request tickets be donated to the Boys & Girls Club.
You have been invoiced via club runner, just like dues. If you need help, please reach out to Amber.

When you pay your 2022 Holiday Classic invoice by December 8th  Rotarians or their companies & organizations will be listed in the Holiday Classic program.

November is Rotary Foundation Month

Generous gifts to The Rotary Foundation help create lasting change in communities both nearby and around the world. In honor of Rotary Foundation Month in November, we’re asking club and district leaders to thank donors and reflect on the good that their donations make possible. Here are three ways you can celebrate Foundation Month:
  1. Make a special gift to the Foundation on Giving Tuesday, 29 November. The top clubs in fundraising, participation, and online giving will be featured on My Rotary. Take a look at last year’s honorees.
  2. Help others in need by giving the gift of Rotary anytime during November.
  3. Take time during a club meeting to show members how the Foundation transforms gifts into service projects that advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by fighting disease, improving the quality of education, protecting the environment, alleviating poverty, and more. Invite a Foundation scholarship recipient or a community member who was involved in and benefited from a grant project to speak about its impact on their life.
Buy SCRIP Cards for everyday use
Did you know that if you buy the majority of your gas at Kwik Trip, you could pre-pay for your gas AND help the club at the same time? A $100 Kwik Trip card immediately creates $5 for the club and any in-store purchases creates another 5% donation. If you would like to purchase Scrip cards, send an email to romnrotary@gmail.com with how many and what denomination you'd like. In additional to Kwik Trip, Scrip cards are also available to Apollo Liquor and Menards. The cards are purchased at face value, but the club receives 5% back from Apollo Liquor and Kwik Trip and 4% back from Menards. The club receives an additional 5% on purchases at Kwik Trip, other than gas, inside the store.
