We will meet this Thursday in Suite 101 at Mayo Civic Center, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Our program will be "Vision Hope for Haiti" presented by Julie Kaehler and Sarah Klaehn. The country of Haiti is resilient and its people are hard-working and passionate. Because of this, Vision Hope for Haiti strives to assist Haitians in sustainable and lasting ways. Vision Hope for Haiti has partnered with a community in Port-au-Prince to provide clean drinking water, an adult training center, agricultural assistance programs, soccer programs, sponsorships, and soon - a new school building to educate Haitian children and provide employment for quality teachers and staff. We truly believe that education is the key to empowering individuals to provide for their families and, ultimately, create a bright future for all of Haiti.

Funds raised will be contributed to the Rotary Club of Rochester Foundation. Please plan to join us this week with a generous heart, and cash or your checkbook, and bid on this whimsical piece! If you can't be present at this week's meeting and would like the opportunity to own this piece, please contact the Rotary office to bid via proxy.

Thank you to all TRCR Rotarians and their friends and family who volunteered for one shift or more at the 2019 Rotary Holiday Classic. It takes many volunteers to host 32 varsity basketball teams and thousand of fans. Even if your shift seemed slow, you served an important purpose and made Rotary more visible in our community. Thank you again. We had great participation from all three Rotary clubs of Rochester.
Thank you, also, to those who have already paid their $40 contribution the event. All Rochester Rotarians are asked to make this potentially tax-deductible contribution. If you have not yet done contributed, you may provide cash or check to the Rotary office or pay by credit card via your ClubRunner member access. Please email or call the Rotary office if you have questions.
