In this month of hearts and flowers, let’s get together to share reflections on what we love most about Rotary! Is it the great programs? Is it the networking with other community leaders? Is it the impact Rotary has across the country and around the world?

Join us to share some Rotary love as we begin gathering at 5:30 p.m. Feel free to enjoy your favorite food and beverage while socializing. Rotary After Hours is scheduled the first Thursday of the month in lieu of the Club's noon meeting.

Camp RYLA 2021 Cancellation Announcement

Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the RYLA planning team has made the difficult decision to cancel Camp RYLA for 2021. The planning team explored the possibility of moving RYLA to a date later in the year, but it was not feasible. Camp RYLA 2022 has been scheduled for April 21-26, 2022.

We would like to thank the sponsoring Clubs, guidance counselors and other school staff for the work you do every year to select and send students to Camp RYLA. We appreciate your support and hope you will consider sending students next year.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Jodi Erickson, Club Administrator

RI President-elect announces 2021-22 presidential theme

By Ryan Hyland

Incoming Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta urged members to become more involved in service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives, but also our own.

Watch the theme address

Mehta, a member of the Rotary Club of Calcutta-Mahanagar, West Bengal, India, revealed the 2021-22 presidential theme, Serve to Change Lives, to incoming district governors on 1 February during the Rotary International Assembly. The assembly, a yearly training event for district governors-elect, was originally set to take place in Orlando, Florida, USA, but was held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sign-up to give the Four-way Test, Reflection, or a Vocation Talk

From Julie Brock, Director of Club Meeting Activities

Thank you for being part of Rotary. We recognize that virtual meetings are not ideal, but they afford us an opportunity to hear from one another, see each other, and remember there is representation of the four way test in each face on the screen. We want to make sure we hear from the voices of each and every member in our meetings over the course of the year. We have several opportunities for you.

Please sign-up to lead the four-way test, or give a reflection or vocation talk here. We have the meetings scheduled out until December, 2021, so please choose any 2nd or 4th Thursday meeting that works with your schedule.
