The Rochester Art Center (RAC) has experienced many challenges in recent years, but despite the pandemic, they are feeling confident in their progress toward getting RAC back on track. Their founder, Newton Holland, established the Rochester Art Center as the first small town Art Center in middle America, expressing a desire for all people the opportunity to know, practice and enjoy the arts, and to make Rochester a cultural center worthy of its scientific achievement. That is the vision that guides the RAC as they embark on their 75th year as a cultural institution.

As of December 15, there are five openings for December 19: Two openings from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and one opening each at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 6:30 p.m.
Please consider signing-up to ring bells! Bell ringing is a tradition of The Rotary Club of Rochester, and we are committed to ringing bells each Saturday, November 14 - December 19 at HyVee 37th Street. Shifts are 8:30 am - 8:30 pm. Please check your schedule and register hereto serve. Rotarians are always encouraged to enjoy community service with family members, but this year we ask you to especially consider it with COVID-19 guidelines in place.
The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of community service opportunities. Days and shifts vary. Click on the "Read More" button for more information. You are encouraged to volunteer individually for any of the following:

Food Pantry
Resource Room
Reception Desk
Lunch Program

Scrip cards to Apollo Liquor, Kwik Trip, and Menards are available for purchase to support The Rotary Club of Rochester. You purchase and spend the cards at face value, but the club receives 5% back from Apollo Liquor and Kwik Trip, and 4% back from Menards. The club receives an additional 5% on purchases at Kwik Trip, other than gas, inside the store.
