Enjoy a great meal while raising funds for Cradle 2 Career's Education Summit
The Rotary Club of Rochester has a wonderful opportunity to raise funds for the annual Cradle 2 Career Education Summit, which will be held again this Fall. Our club is partnering with Victoria's and Sorellina's restaurants, which will both generously give 25 percent of their sales, for an entire day, for anyone who eats in or orders takeout AND mentions the fundraiser for Cradle 2 Career.

The fundraiser at Victoria's is Sunday, March 23 and at Sorellina's on Sunday, April 27 - both from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Welcome to our newest TRCR member, Dr. Loring Stead
TRCR Past President Ashok Patel provided the following introduction as the new member sponsor of Dr. Loring Stead.

Dr. Loring Stead is a retired podiatrist (foot doctor) from Olmsted Medical Center and an experienced executive leader and coach. He is rejoining The Rotary Club of Rochester after a brief hiatus as a member, just in time for our 100th year anniversary celebration!

Dr. Stead shares our Club's efforts at maintaining a great quality of life, safe and welcoming community that listens deeply, cares for all and supports its neighborhoods equitably. He works to understand efforts that build great schools, parks, bike trails, swimming pools, library, vibrant downtown and shopping, transportation and short commutes, affordable housing for all, commitment to helping those with additional needs, expanding the diversity of our economic base and mindful, transparent people centered taxes. In short, he strives to be that trusted and supportive neighbor for anyone in our community.

Rotarians - let's share the love
February is the month we celebrate love! And we can’t think of a better way to do that than to “Share The Love” we have for the good work of Rotary by supporting our Rotary International Foundation which funds most of that good work.

The more we give, the more impact there is in our communities and around the world.  This year, we have a challenging but achievable goal of raising $500,000 in our District for the Annual Fund – SHARE.  We are currently at $244,000 so let’s PUSH now to make this happen! The RI Foundation is recognized as one of the most effective and well-managed charitable organizations in the world, with 15 consecutive four-star ratings from Charity Navigator and an A-plus rating from CharityWatch.

Happy 120th anniversary, Rotary International!

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on February 23, 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world. "Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves." - Paul Harris
