Another opportunity to enjoy a meal while raising funds for Cradle 2 Career's Education Summit
The Rotary Club of Rochester has a second opportunity to raise funds for the annual Cradle 2 Career Education Summit. Stop by or order dinner out from Sorellina's restaurant on April 27 between 10:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Mention the Cradle 2 Career fundraiser and the restaurant will generously give 25 percent of their sales, for the entire day, to Cradle 2 Career.

Attend the going away party for Jaime Flores-Gouyonnet - May 7
Jaime Flores-Gouyonnet, the young man that the three Rochester Rotary Clubs hosted from Mexico while he was working at Mayo Clinic, was matched with Boston University for his residency.  He and his girlfriend, Brenna Sharp, are moving to Boston.  Both Jaime and Brenna have been part of our club's Young Professional mentoring program.
 
Audrey Betcher is hosting a going away party on May 7 at 6:00 p.m. to wish them well.  All Rotarians, significant others, and friends are invited. Food and beverages will be provided.

Quarry Hill Tree Planting - May 20 at 4:00 p.m.
Quarry Hill Tree Planting
Tuesday, May 20 at 4:00 p.m. (Rain date is May 21)
 
The Rotary Clubs of Rochester are planting trees at Quarry Hill Nature Center. Volunteers should bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Tree planting should take less than two hours, and pizza will be provided after the trees are planted.

We are going to serve Breakfast for Dinner!  Last time I did this meal there it was a hit!!  Who doesn't love bacon any time of the day!? The Rotary Club of Rochester's next Cook 4 Kids at Jeremiah Program is on Tuesday, May 20, and we're going to serve breakfast for dinner because who doesn't love bacon any time of the day!

Crutches 4 Africa
 
Crutches 4 Africa is a Rotary Clubs of Rochester service project to collect, store, and distribute used mobility devices to people in Africa who have limited mobility (due to age or illness) and cannot afford a device. Our goal is to collect 3,000 devices in the next few months. Please donate your used devices so those in need can improve their mobility and their lives. Every donation changes a life!
