 IVE) is a mentorship program created to motivate high school seniors who w
 ish to improve their present educational status and life prospects. The pr
 ogram was developed on the premise that students who are academically rank
 ed in the lower half of their class have the same natural abilities and gi
 fts as those who are in the upper half. The difference is often motivation
 \, work habits\, self-esteem\, attendance\, and performance in the classro
 om. STRIVE challenges these students to improve their work\, gain self-con
