Becky Bakken, President and CEO, oversees the marketing and sales efforts to promote the communities of St. Louis Park and Golden Valley, two suburban cities just west of Minneapolis. The organization was formed in 2011 and Becky has been at the helm since April 2015. Bakken serves as the voice of these dynamic communities to strengthen their economic vitality through tourism. She enjoys the collaborative spirit of Minneapolis metro-area DMOs. Bakken has a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management and a Masters degree in Tourism. She serves on the board of the MN Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus.
