DEI District Committee Meeting - December 8th at 6pm on Zoom

SAVE THE DATE - SHARE THE DATE! December 8, 2021, 6:00 PM

Hello from the District 5650 Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee.  I am sending this to all Club Presidents in hopes that you will share with your members!

Diversity has long been one of Rotary's core values so we created the DEI Committee at District 5650 to learn from and share with each other.  We will be hosting a Zoom Committee meeting for all those interested on Thursday, December 8th at 6pm, details to follow.

The discussion will focus on:
1. What is RI doing around DEI
2. Let's share what clubs are doing around DEI
3. What can the District can do to support your DEI initiatives

Everyone who engages with Rotary — no matter who they are, where they are in the world, or how long they have been connected with Rotary — should feel valued, respected, and welcomed. These ideals reflect what current and prospective members want and expect from their Rotary experience: respect, ethical leadership, inclusion, and the opportunity to work together to create more just, open, and welcoming communities for all people.

PP Camille Metoyer Moten will be sending out more details soon.
