Annual Christmas/Holiday Party
December 14, 2022 is our annual Christmas/Holiday Party. The Omaha Community Playhouse is coming to Rotary! Don't miss it! It's the best time to invite your spouse, friend, colleague, or a prospective member.

We will be treated to an ensemble from the Omaha Community Playhouse showcasing holiday music accompanied by OCP Music Director Jim Boggess and Susan Baer Collins, former artistic director.  The Omaha Community Playhouse program is brought  to us by Camille Metoyer Moten, who is president of the OCP Board of Directors.

The Past Presidents are treating all of you to wine, so bring a mate or a friend.

It just isn’t Christmas without ‘A Christmas Carol!’

Experience Omaha’s favorite holiday tradition as Ebenezer Scrooge takes us on a life-changing journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas. The must-see holiday event for the entire family, filled with stunning Victorian costumes, festive music and crisp, wintry sets. Click here for more details.

21 Vanloads of Love for Children in Ukraine
Every day, children in Ukraine become orphans. Every day children are sent away from the war zone by their parents. Every day Rotary members in Poland and Ukraine do what they can to help those children.

On December 17, a convoy of 21 vans loaded with generators, sleeping bags, coats, mittens, warm clothing and even some food will move from Poland into Ukraine headed to 21 orphanages near the city of Lviv in western Ukraine. One van for each of 21 orphanages filled with children who have lost one or more parents or have been sent there for safety.

Piotr Jankowski, Rotary District Governor for Poland, explains what will take place. http://youtu.be/itW1DPk3yy4

Rotary members in District 5650 (Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa) have the opportunity to donate to a special fund established by District Governor Barbara Bartle to help fill those vans with supplies. Click here to donate by December 13 to help support this humanitarian effort.

You can also scan the QR code here for donation.
