Miss me Yet?  LOL.  It was great to be back in power this week for the meeting.  Camille was lounging somewhere on a beach and I hope having a great time as I got to swing the gavel at the Jazz friendly (thanks to Deb) meeting.

Great meeting this week.  Bill Harvey got to award a new Paul Harris pin to Susan Courtney which is awesome, and we had a great crowd on hand for our terrific speaker.  Wendy Goldberg gave us a history on the amazing journey that has happened to create the Tri-Faith initiative campus off of 132nd and Pacific.  This initiative is unique and is one of the first to bring together the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faiths into a common campus.  Wendy really stressed the need for reducing fear and creating a much better environment for understanding and the ability to share stories and knowledge.  The goal is to help be more proactive than reactive in learning and dealing with the tensions in the world.  This has been more than a $70 million dollar investment over more than 10 years to get where they are today and she stresses that they are just getting going and there are hopes of lots of great things to come.  Thank you to Wendy and Carla Patton for joining us today and for the invitation to come out and see what they have going on.

I think the key phrase for the week is "Come back Camille".  It was great to fill in and I want to give a shout out to the membership for really stepping up to fill in the needed spots for club service.  It doesn't take a lot for greeting, registration, AV set-up and clean up, etc. if we all pitch in.  Thanks for serving.

Have a Great week!
Brad
