I truly believe in giving back to help others and supporting RFI is one way to do that."
Aileen has been a Rotarian since 2014 and has been very active in the club. Her involvement ranges from serving on the Rotary Scholarship Committee, volunteering on Club community projects, to serving on the Downtown Omaha Club Foundation Board.
Aileen Warren currently serves as the President and CEO of ICAN. On February 23, 2022, the club voted the slate of candidates vetted by the Nominating Committee chaired by IPP John Sullivan and Past Presidents John Ewing and Bill Harvey, which was subsequently approved by the Board. Congratulations Larry Guenther, Michelle Trawick, Mitch Hunt, Camille Metoyer Moten, and Chris Tooker.
Last week at Rotary President Aileen presided over the meeting and our speaker was Silva Raker of Kiewit Luminarium Project. We celebrated March birthday celebrants with a live Birthday song with Jim Scott-Miller on the piano. Our resident pianist Jim Scott-Miller has been released from being lovingly grounded at home so we can kiss goodbye to our singing in acapella. PP John Ewing announced his big good news recently when he celebrated his 40th year at his work. Secretary Lisa gave everyone three minutes to chat with each other before assessing table fines. Cesar Garcia brought in the power of the Latino community by having eight prospective members for the South O initiative. Tom Gouttierre shared memories about NU's longest-serving president and former UNO Chancellor Rotarian Ron Roskens, who recently passed away.
