As president and CEO, Tobi oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Goodwill Omaha’s mission programs, federal contracts and retail organization. Tobi began her career with Goodwill as a mission program coordinator in October 2006. Since then, she has served in a variety of positions, including organizational development manager, federal contracts director, and director of mission advancement.
Tobi is a member of Vistage® Worldwide, Rotary Club of Omaha, and a trustee of the Business Ethics Alliance®, which promotes an environment where the discussion and practice of ethics are encouraged and expected in our community.
In 2017, Tobi enrolled in Goodwill Industries International’s Executive Development Program, a globally respected, award-winning program designed to mold experienced leaders within Goodwill organizations. She previously earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sociology from the University of Nebraska–Omaha, and she is a graduate of Goodwill Industries International’s Senior Leadership Program.
Recently, Past President Jim Murphy introduced our newest member Mike Mancuso. Mike is the President of Mid-America Expositions Inc., the company behind the success of annual Outland Trophy. Mike's involvement in the Omaha business community includes being Past President and current member of the Omaha Executives Association, over 50-year member of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce - Gold member, Recipient of the Omaha Italian-American of the Year in 2016, and was awarded Small Business of the Year by the Chamber in 2010. Last week at Rotary, President Sean Connolly presided over the meeting with Gretchen Harvey as Secretary. We welcomed newest Rotarian Mike Mancuso, introduced by Jim Murphy. Theo Freye gave his vocational talk live from Germany but we might ask him to do it again in person because the audio at Field Club was still adopting to its new ClickShare technology. Alexis Boulos introduced our program speaker Vice President of Sonburst Communication, Inc. Sean Olson, who happened to be our Past President and current President of the Omaha Downtown Rotary Foundation. Because he is our very own Sean Olson, Rotarians thought it was play time and they started throwing balls to Sean at the podium! See the video below.

Your Service Fund in Action! Recently, Omaha Downtown Rotary participated in a multi-club grant project of purchasing and packaging nutritious meals for the food insecure in our immediate community. Omaha Downtown Rotary, Omaha West Rotary, and Millard Rotary, with Rotarians, family, and friends, packaged 25,000 meals in partnership with Kids Against Hunger. Here's a video recap.
