Rotary Open Day - 22 April 2017

 

The Rotary Open Day  for  the R/Y 2016-17 is scheduled for Saturday, 22nd April 2017 at Ggaba Beach Hotel, starting at 10:00am.

 

Besides the FOOD BONANZA, we shall have lots of fun with a host of activities on the day, inclusive of children's bouncing castle, sporting activities like football, volleyball, sac race, tug-of-war, among others. 

 

There will also be cutting of a cake to celebrate 100 years of TRF - The Rotary Foundation (whose initial contribution was US $26.50 in 1918, then referred to as the endowment fund, and later renamed TRF when the fund grew beyond $5,000).

 

This Rotary Open Day shall be used as a platform to promote the awareness of rotary activities within the general public;  and  Rotarians from a host of clubs, along with their families, are  expected to join us on this day as we celebrate the essence of  Rotary and the ethos of "Service Above Self".
