Thank you to everyone who came out to meet with District Governor Marcel Noel and his husband, Nicholas. You were all lovely, and it was really nice to see how vibrant and amazing our club can be. We are one of the most engaged and vibrant clubs in the district and that’s because of you all, and the time and energy and kindness that you put into your friendships with each other as well as the good you do in the community.
This week, we host Charles Dickey, a Seattle Rotarian, summer visitor and board member of Rotarian Malaria partners.
Rotarian Malaria Partners’ goal is the worldwide elimination of malaria, and the nonprofit organization hopes to ignite a Rotarian campaign for the global eradication of the disease, which kills 453,000 annually, most of those are in Africa, most are children.

Good afternoon Carrie,
I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate our meeting with your board and your club. I saw a very dedicated bunch of people ready to get involved and, which is more important, people with a real agenda for change. As you know we will need to bring change in the coming years.
Starting with David Wells, very friendly welcoming, to yours and your colleagues we felt part of your Rotary family; and that was great.
Thank you for everything and have a wonderful year, being the inspiration!
