Greetings Rotarians!

 

I am down south this week working on a construction project so will not be at Rotary this week, nor will we have Zoom for the meeting.  Annette Higgins will preside over the meeting, and we will have club fellowship time and one of Annette’s fun activities.  It is also a good time for Rotary Q & A.  Annette is a fount of knowledge both at the club and district level.  Make the most of it!

 

Last week I met with the leaders of the Glen Mary Dog Park planning committee via zoom.  I learned there isn’t much hands-on work like we had with the Park Street Playground.  They need our club to help financially, by serving as an ambassador to get the word out, and to help as post-construction monitors.  Knowing the scope of our involvement has changed, can you let me know your level of interest in supporting the project?

 

I personally love the idea of a dog park and I think it is a good thing for us to be involved in (can you envision the Rotary sign on the fence) but I don’t want to make the decision for the club without others’ support.

 

We have more snow in Virginia than we have in Maine right now!
