We gather for lunch on Wednesday at the Atlantic Oceanside at noon to hear from author Edith Schriever. Edith’s first book—Talos and the Yellow Suitcase—has received great reviews. Her website teases us with “I never knew, so I didn’t question.” Talos is stuck in a black and white world. One day, entering a new world full of color, joy, and feelings, the questions begin. Talos learns to see from a different perspective. Noticing something odd leads to new explorations and the uncovering of some answers, but newfound answers soon lead to more questions for Talos.
