President's Message
Greetings!

We had a good group at lunch last Wednesday as we welcomed Linda Lunt (and her driver Barbara Baron Gifford since Linda has broken her keg). Linda is the resource director at the YWCA MDI, and she helps connect people with programs that can assist them. Chris White suggested we invite her to tell us about the Shaw Fund for Mariners. This fund was created in the 1800's to help women and children of mariners from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, but it has expanded over the years. You can learn more about the fund here: https://www.shawfund.org/our-purpose

The Adventure Golf Fundraiser is this Saturday, May 20th. Registration starts at 8:30 AM. Scott says there are still a few holes left to sponsor and space for more teams. Every dollar raised goes to the oncology department at MDI Hospital!
