President's Message
Greetings!

We had a good, lively group at last Wednesday's evening meeting at Pat's Pizza.

We heard from Ann Tikkanan from the MDI YMCA about Healthy Kids Day scheduled for Saturday, May 13th. The club presented Ann a check for $1000 for the project.

Scott Hammond gave an update on the Adventure Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, May 20th at Pirates Cove. We are partnering with MDI Hospital, which will be the recipient of the funds raised. Currently, half of the holes are sponsored, and Scott could use some help getting the rest. Please sponsor a hole, recruit a sponsor or get a team together!

We had a short board meeting and then inducted Emily Cough as a member, sponsored by Robert Rechholtz.

This week we will hear from Linda Lunt about the Shaw Fund that helps fisherman.

Hope to see you there,
Annette
