Rotary has a service opportunity this weekend - Earth Day Roadside Cleanup! We are pros at this by now, and our Bar Harbor/MDI Rotary team will meet at Downeast Horizons at 8:30 a.m. We will cleanup along Route 3 from the head of the island to Pirates Cove. We will be joined by some of my friends and FOA volunteers for this great work session as we help spruce up the island for the summer. All supplies will be provided including stylish orange safety vests, bags, and gloves. We will be part of a group of hundreds of volunteers working across the island. Drive slowly as you are out and about!
