On weekdays, I post on my personal Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts motivational snippets to writers and others and accompany them with photos of one of my dogs or my cat. Last week, I posted one that made me think about Rotary and our club and all of our places in it.

It read, “You feel less lost when you step into your gifts.”

As Rotarians, it’s up to us to make this club something fun, something that helps its members and also something that helps our community. For a moment, maybe we can all think about our gifts and how those fit into Rotary.

Are you great at posting on Instagram or writing letters to the editor? Then maybe think about being on the Public Image committee

Are projects your thing? Sign up for an individual project committee or the service committee.

Are you friendly? Be a greeter.

All of you are so talented, fun, and brilliant. You are some of the best people and professionals in this community. Rotary is all about us taking action to make change in our communities, clubs and ourselves. Let’s all step into our gifts together.

Meeting

This week’s meeting is also the end of our card game. So bring your cards!

We don’t have an official speaker, so we’ll be working on some club activities and networking.

Adventure Golf

There will be a short Adventure Golf meeting right before our Wednesday meeting. All are welcome. Ask John Jagger for details.

But also think about becoming a hole sponsor ($100) or having a team ($50)! Teams are usually between 4-6 people.

Survey

Many thanks to all of you who have already filled out our survey about meeting times and committees. If you haven’t yet responded, you can do so by clicking on this link.

Wheelchair Project

You can still join in on the district wheelchair project this April! Email Scott Hammond for details. I apologize for my error in last week’s newsletter where I stated it was in March. I think Scott’s just going to California in March, that busy man.
