Welcome to Spring everyone,
Last week we had a quick review of the results of our membership survey and learned that there’s overwhelming support for having a meeting at either breakfast or evening times. It was split 50-50. We definitely don’t want to alienate or isolate our fantastic members who can only meet at lunchtimes at Birch Bay; so the Board will look into options and possibilities at our next meeting.
The survey also asked about what committees you’d like to serve on other than volunteering at the Fourth of July. If you didn’t fill out the survey,
please send me an email detailing where you’d like to serve. Serving on committees is both a great way to become better friends with other Rotarians, but also a great way to help both the club and the community.

Finally, the survey to inactive members asked what they would like Rotary to offer and respondents replied:
- Family activities
- E-club online
- Different meeting times, more opportunities to serve on committees, more local service projects
- Fun evening fellowship with family
- Breakfast club
- Service projects focus versus a meeting focus
All of this is great information for the Strategic Planning Committee. So, I appreciate your feedback.
