Join us Wednesdays at 12 PM at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel in Bar Harbor, except for the first Wednesday of each month when we meet at 5 PM at Pat's Pizza in Bar Harbor. If you attend in person, please be vaccinated.
Please join us for our next meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 13th, at 12 pm in the Seal Harbor Room at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. The Seal Harbor Room is located in the building that faces Eden Street. Lunch will include steak sandwiches and bread pudding for dessert. Guests are welcome, too!
Our speaker for tomorrow will be Scott Boucher, Maine Rotary Chair of PolioPlus. Scott will give us an update on plans to raise awareness about World Polio Day on October 24th. Please be thinking about ways our club can support PolioPlus this year and let Lynn Verrill know if you have any suggestions.
The Rotary clubs of Panamá Norte and Westchester (Los Angeles), put together a global grant that sought to remedy the digital divide in Panama. The project provided each school with 30 laptops for students, an interactive whiteboard, and other technology, and also provided training for local teachers.
