Dear Club Members,
We enjoyed another great meal on Wednesday. Chef Pasha treated us to a delicious Caesar salad, pot roast, mashed potatoes, stuffed fish, green beans almondine and cheesecake.
It has been requested that if you need to leave the meeting prior to the program please be kind enough to let the speaker know your plan.
Maryanne has emailed me to inform me that the Interact Club will be unable to attend our noon meeting on Wednesday. The students are available to attend our January evening meeting OR they wondered if some Club members might enjoy attending one of their meetings at the High School. They meet on Fridays at 7:30 am and could host us on 1/8, 1/22 or 1/29. I will be sure to bring this up for discussion at our meeting on Wednesday.
I would love to hear some suggestions from all of you as to where we might meet for our January, February and March evening meetings. With so few places open in town there is not much to choose from.
Alan and Amanda have set up a Go Fund Me account, the link to this is posted below as well as Alan’s mailing address at Hope Lodge where Alan is staying while undergoing treatment. Let’s show our support for this young couple as they fight this battle! As of this writing the fund has raised $5,228 of their goal of $8,000. Borrowing from the slogan of PolioPlus -- "we are this close."

It is with regret that I must inform you that John Willett has resigned from the position as President Elect. The Board has accepted John’s resignation and will vote at the next Board meeting on the succession for this position.
From my family to yours I send warmest wishes for a Happy Holiday season and best wishes in the New Year!
Yours in Service,
Sue
