Due to the pandemic, we are currently meeting via Zoom. Join us on Wednesdays at Noon, except for the first Wednesday of the month when we meet at 5:00 pm (check Facebook or the speakers list on this page for the topics presented).

This week we will be having a virtual meeting via Zoom, on Wednesday, December 30th at Noon. We will have a presentation and discussion with Hannah Whalen. She is the Director, Philanthropy and Donor Services at the Maine Community Foundation. Please watch your inbox for Zoom details!
Founded in 1983, the Maine Community Foundation (MCF) works with donors and other partners to improve the quality of life for all Maine people. MCF’s investment expertise supports its donors’ effective and strategic giving. They offer a range of giving options tailored to fit each donor’s financial means and charitable objectives. The MCF staff provides personalized service, community leadership, and a deep understanding of local issues.
Hannah consults with donors to help them achieve their philanthropic goals. Based in Ellsworth, she covers Aroostook, Hancock, Washington, Penobscot, and Waldo counties. Hannah has worked in philanthropy and fundraising for over 15 years. She is a graduate of Leadership Hancock County (2014) and Leadership Maine (2018) and a Maine Master Naturalist.
