I hope everyone had a nice weekend!
Lunch Meeting October 15th - Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 15th, at 12 p.m. in the Boardroom at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. The chef will be preparing fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and key-lime pie. Our President-Elect Evelyn Swan will tell us all about her recent RYLA experience.
Bar Harbor Historical Society Event October 17th 6:30-8:30 PM - Our club has been invited to have an exhibit at the Bar Harbor Historical Society, and we will host an event to unveil the exhibit on Friday, October 17th. We hope to recruit new members at this event, and we will also have a 50/50 raffle to raise money for Polio Plus. Refreshments and beverages will be served.
New Meeting Schedule – We discussed meeting attendance at our last Board of Directors meeting on October 7th. Due to ongoing low attendance at meetings, the Board has decided to reduce the number of club meetings to two per month - an evening meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. at Pat’s Pizza and a lunch meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 12 p.m. at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. Therefore, there will be no meetings on October 22nd and 29th.
