Spring is finally here! I hope you were all able to be out and about last weekend enjoying the warm temps! This last weekend was our district (along with 5 others) conference that took place at Mount Washington. Annette Higgins and Susy Del Cid-Papadopoli were able to attend for our club where we were presented with a Gold District Governor’s award! This award comes from all your hard work in participation with projects like The Park Street Playground, Story Trail Project (coming soon), Backpack Program and so many more! A very proud award for our club!
We had a great time at Pork Nation last Wednesday evening with lots of amazing food and fellowship. Next month’s evening meeting on June 6 will take place in the Porcupine Room at The Bar Harbor Inn.
Also, Rotary Adventure Golf will be held this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Pirates Cove - bring a team! The weather is supposed to be great, and we have a lot of fantastic sponsors and door prizes lined up! All proceeds will benefit the Oncology Unit at MDI Hospital.
We will see you this Wednesday back at Birch Bay Village for lunch.
