Greetings Rotary friends!
We meet this Wednesday at noon at the Atlantic Oceanside for a Club Assembly to discuss changes for Rotary in the 2022-23 club year, our 4th of July festival (you are doing GREAT signing up for volunteer shifts – thank you), and new member inductions.
We have had some great meetings already this month. We had a true fellowship-focused meeting the first Wednesday of the month at Pat’s Pizza. We learned about friends jumping out of airplanes, celebrity encounters, and rappelling off of buildings. Any idea which of our club members did these fun things? I’ll tell you this and much more we learned on June 1. Last week we had a FANTASTIC presentation by Davin O’Connell, long-time president of MDI Search and Rescue. We had so many questions, we could have stayed an extra hour. Instead, Davin said he would come back to club to give an update next year.
For those who have been asking, Don Allen is in a rehab facility after falling at lunch a few weeks ago. If anyone has more information, please email the group.

If you responded to Ron’s survey earlier this year, I put you in but check to make sure I have you in the right place. Plenty of cool jobs left, like cashiers for breakfast and lunch, pancake cooker at breakfast and condiment Queen at lunch!
