Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! I’m teaching in New Hampshire this week, so Susy Del Cid Papadopoli will be running the meeting, which will feature Elise Frank and a new Polio challenge for our club. Many thanks to Art Blank for supplying some much needed vessels for the challenge. I know! It sounds cryptic, doesn’t it?
It’s all to get you to come to Wednesday’s meeting.
Also, many thanks to Steven Boucher for being the Sergeant At Arms for the rest of the Rotary year.
Save the Date!
The Adventure Golf Tournament is set for May 18th! This tournament raises money for the MDI Hospital Oncology Department!

Ellsworth Rotary Club Auction
Our friends at the Ellsworth Club are having their 68th annual auction. According to the event’s Facebook page, “The Rotary Club of Ellsworth is excited to be hosting its 68th Annual Charity Auction on Friday, May 3rd at Big Cat’s. Every year we distribute up to $20,000 to local nonprofits and scholarships for deserving high school seniors. The auction is the largest fundraiser for the club as a result of outstanding community support. Friends in Action has been chosen to be Rotary’s 2019 auction partner. Friends in Action's leaders, employees and volunteers will assist with organizing the event and will share the proceeds with the Rotary Club. The 2019 auction will be held on Friday, May 3rd, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at Big Cat’s Event Center in Trenton. It will be a fun-filled evening with lots of wonderful live and silent auction items, plus hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.” If you aren’t going to the District Conference you should stop by.
