Hi, everyone!

I hope you’re all doing well. Many thanks to Susy Del Cid Papadopoli for running last week’s meeting that featured Elise Frank. I heard the ladies were fantastic.

This week, Scott Hammond will be giving his classification talk, and newer club members will have a chance to get acquainted with Scott’s story. He’ll also have just returned from the wheelchair project; so I’m sure he’ll have a lot to share.

Prior to the meeting at 11:30, we’ll be having a quick couple of project meetings, focusing on updates and next steps for the Little Free Library Project and the anti-bullying project, which is set for May 11 at the YWCA. More information about that exciting project, which is partially funded by a district grant will be available soon.

Annual Dinner June 19th
Our annual dinner will be held on Wednesday, June 19th, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Carriage House (next to Jack Russell’s Steakhouse), 102 Eden St., Bar Harbor. The cost is $30 per person with a cash bar. Dinner options include grilled New York strip steak, crab stuffed haddock, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan or broiled salmon (all include salad). Dessert options include blueberry cobbler or homemade cheesecake. Please RSVP to Colleen Maynard with your dinner and dessert choices and the number of guests.

Adventure Golf May 18th
The Adventure Golf Project for MDI Hospital’s Oncology Department is fast approaching. If you have brought in hole sponsors in the past, please consider grabbing those again. Or if you have ideas for sponsors, let John Jagger know. Also, please like and share the Facebook event.  And finally, if you can help May 18, the day of the event, also let John know.

Thanks! Rotary only works when we all help. Working together makes us better friends and helps our community and develops our network of professionals.

I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!
