This weekend Rotarians donned capes and Rotary decals and volunteer t-shirts and staffed the Mile 18 water table for the MDI Marathon. So many thanks to Martha Abbott, Sallie Boggs (an amazing clown), Steve Boucher aka Doctor Strange, Stephanie Clement,  Lilly Farrar the Cat Kitty, Shaun Farrar a random pink-caped super hero, and the always marathon-knowledgeable Mike Madell for being an awesome team that was full of joy and spirit. You were all rock stars and we got to cheer on Rotarian Jenny Jones as she rushed towards the finish line. Good job, Jenny!

And many thanks to Annette Higgins and Susy Del Cid Papadopoli for representing our club at this weekend’s district conference in Canada.

This Wednesday, Scott Boucher of Bangor, is going to be talking about Rotary’s awesome efforts to eradicate polio. You can get a couple spoilers here. And get ready to help Elise Frank with our upcoming Purple Pinky Day to Support Polio Eradication.

Best wishes,
Carrie

Thanks from Joe Losquadro

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words wishing me a speedy recovery. Believe me when I say that I too have this same self-wish.
