Join us Wednesdays at Noon, at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel in Bar Harbor, except for the first Wednesday of each month when we meet at Pat's Pizza in Bar Harbor. If you attend in person, please be vaccinated.
We spent this weekend at Sabbathday Lake in New Gloucester with the whole family to help celebrate Debby’s mother’s 94th birthday. The weather has cooled off this week, thank goodness, and we are having perfect Maine summer days! There are a lot of loons in this lake, too, and we get to see and hear them every morning and evening, another treat to summer. But, as the nights cool down, we are starting to notice small signs of the end of the season.
This week, Melanie Dresser, the executive director of Camp CaPella will join us on Wednesday as our speaker. If you can make it, I hope to see you. As an incentive, we keep the meetings to an hour; so you should be on your way by 1 p.m.
