District 7790 Ecuador Relief Fund

Recently our friends in the country of Ecuador were hit by a massive earthquake causing much destruction, death and injury. The epicenter was in close proximity to Cojimies where we have had four District Projects and over a dozen smaller projects located in this area.

PDG Paul Beaulieu has been in contact with our Rotary contact George Murilo who is also the vice mayor of the hardest hit city of Pedernales, which he says is devastated. I am asking for all of us to work together in the Spirit of Rotary and District 7790 to help our friends in this very difficult time of great need. 

With the help of PDG Paul and the Quebec-Charlesbourg Rotary Club there will be an opportunity to help the people of Ecuador. There has been an Ecuador relief fund set-up through the clubs Quebec-Charlesbourg Foundation.

Rotarians and their Clubs may contribute to this relief fund by sending checks to Foundation Quebec-Charlesbourg with the description of Ecuador Relief /Funds Ecuador. Please mail your donation to Club Rotary Quebec-Charlesbourg, C.P. 34125, Quebec City, QC G1G 6P2 For individual donations please provide your full name and address if you would like to receive an income tax receipt. Clubs can also provide a list of the donors with the contact information for individual income tax receipts.
