Thanks for including us in your recent newsletter, Rotarian Malaria Partners!  Every year Seattle Rotarian and RMP Board Member Charley Dickey visits his family at their summer place on coastal Maine. Next to feasting on fresh local lobster and waking up to an early morning cycle around Acadia National Park, he cherishes his connection with his most favorite other Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Bar Harbor.  Last summer, he leaped at the opportunity to share with its members details about RMP’s successful advocacy strategy and its lead Ugandan project. He discussed his recent visits to the District 9211 DCA’s in Entebbe (UG) and Arusha (TZ). At Charley’s invitation, RC-Bar Harbor elected to join the growing list of Clubs investing in RMP’s effort to embrace successful anti-malaria projects and in setting the table for tackling Rotary’s next major global health challenge post Polio eradication. Rotarian Malaria Partners welcomes RC-Bar Harbor as a project partner in helping specifically to underwrite Phase II of Rotary International’s Katakwi (UG) eradication effort!
