Happy spring Rotary friends!
A quick reminder that this week we have our monthly NIGHT meeting at Pat’s Pizza at 6 Pleasant Street in Bar Harbor at 5 p.m. We have a new member attending (thank you Ron for getting her involved!), and I would LOVE to roll out the red carpet for her. Please make an effort to attend this fellowship meeting. We will not have zoom, but we will have wine and beer!
I was so excited to have retired Director of the National Park Service Mr. David Vela speak at last week’s meeting. He shared wonderful stories about his 35 years in the Park Service. To learn more about David, pick up a copy of his book, Hola Ranger.
I was thankful that Sargent at Arms Mike Gurtler talked about the Black Mambas at the meeting last week. They are featured in this month’s Rotary magazine. If you are not getting your magazine, please email me and I will fix the issue.
I ran into Gina Farnsworth’s daughter Pam at the store yesterday and asked about her Mom. Gina is doing well and would like to come back to club meetings if she could get a ride. Could someone reach out to Gina and arrange transportation for her?
